These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“Participant”, “you”) and HytaleModding (“Organizer”, “we”, “us”) governing your participation in the Hytale ModJam (the “Event”).
By registering, submitting an entry, voting, or otherwise participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms, the Official Rules, and the Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Agreement”).
The Event is organized and administered by HytaleModding, an independent community entity.
No Affiliation: The Hytale ModJam is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with Hypixel Studios Canada, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All trademarks, game assets, and intellectual property relating to Hytale remain the property of their respective owners.
In the event of any conflict:
Participation is limited to individuals who can legally enter binding contracts.
Age Requirements: Open to individuals who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher). Teams may participate, but a designated Team Leader meeting this requirement must be appointed to receive prizes on behalf of the team.
The Organizer may verify eligibility at any time.
Prizing
Total Prize Pool: $4,000 USD + 6GB Nitrado Server Vouchers
Judges' Choice Awards (Top 3 Teams):
Community Choice Award:
Top Voted Mod: $1,000 USD (Awarded to the project with the highest number of verified community votes).
Runner-Up Prizes (Top 10):
The top 10 projects selected by the judges will each receive a 3-Month Nitrado Game Server Voucher (6GB RAM configuration in any location where there is stock available).
Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable unless expressly permitted.
Notification will be sent by HytaleModding or Nitrado to the email address listed on the entrants submission form. Please ensure that you have entered valid contact information, as you are responsible for providing a valid email. We anticipate contacting Cash Prize & Server Voucher winners within seven (7) days of the judging conclusion. If a potential winner is unreachable, fails to respond within ten (10) days, or is determined to be ineligible under these Terms, the prize will be forfeited. In such cases, the prize may be reassigned to the entrant with the next highest judge score or community vote.
Tax on Prizes Disclosure Nitrado is not a tax advisor and cannot offer guidance on the tax implications of winning; entrants should consult their own financial counsel. The winner assumes full responsibility for all taxes, including federal, state, and local obligations. To meet legal standards, Nitrado may require you to submit relevant tax documentation (such as Form W-9 or W-8BEN) as a condition of receiving your prize.
Participants retain ownership of their submissions.
By submitting, you grant the Organizer a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, display, and distribute the submission solely for Event operation, promotion, archival, and showcase purposes.
The Organizer may disqualify participants or revoke prizes for violations, fraud, vote manipulation, abuse, or conduct that undermines Event integrity.
The Event is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Aggregate liability shall not exceed the value of any prize awarded.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from all claims arising from participation or breach of this Agreement.
